Two of Montreal's favourite summer destinations have announced when they will reopen this summer.

First, plage de Saint-Zotique has just announced it will open again as of June 19, just in time for Saint-Jean-Baptiste and Father’s Day.

Saint-Zotique Beach, which is only about an hour's drive away from Montreal, is nestled between Highway 20 and the St. Lawrence River. A family destination for years, the beach prides itself on its clean, accessible areas for picnics, swimming, volleyball, and various water sports. Paddleboats, canoes, and kayaks are all available to keep the fun going.

Meanwhile, the Pointe-Calumet Beach is reopening as of May 19 and will be offering a host of new activities.

Pending government approval, visitors will be able to participate in a beach spikeball league, a beach soccer league, and a beach volleyball league— while Wednesdays will be reserved for Latin dance workshops.
