Ten years ago, Lady Gaga made her mark in the music industry after releasing her third, and arguably most iconic album, “Born This Way.”
The album preached acceptance, love, and equality, a concept that was not as common in the early 2010’s. Her words of encouragement in celebrating differences made a mark in society, and has helped many young LGBTQIA+ fans embrace their true identities through the love of her music.
This last month, Lady Gaga celebrated the album’s tenth anniversary surrounded by her dedicated fans as she accepted the key to West Hollywood from Mayor Lauren Meister.
After having been fully vaccinated, Lady Gaga, her team, and fans, all gathered together in a local bar and danced along to old and new albums, like “Chromatica” which celebrated its first anniversary earlier this week.
On Friday, Lady Gaga shocked fans with a surprise special edition of “Born This Way” which will feature various LGBTQIA+ artists coming out on June 18th.
