With many events like the Montreal Pride Parade, travellers from all over the world visit every year to join in on the major celebrations that this city has to offer.
This year, however, with the many travel restrictions put in place, Pride will be looking a little different as Montrealers are still waiting to hear more news on events in the city now that restrictions are being lifted across the province.
Fierté Montreal announced in a statement that they will be sharing more details on the parade that is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 15th 2021:
“On this first day of the reopening plan, many of you are wondering what the status of the Festival is. Will we be in person or online? All we can tell you at the moment is that the 2021 edition will be hybrid... and spectacular! Rest assured that the Montréal Pride Festival team is working very hard to create the best possible edition taking into account public health guidelines. Stay tuned because in the next few weeks we will be starting the lineup unveiling!”
Virtual or not, we can’t wait to celebrate!
