The parking space takes up 134.5-square feet of space, coming out to an average of $9,500 per square foot. The previous world record for the most expensive parking space came out to a total of $969,000.
For reference, in Montreal the average cost for a parking space averages in the 65-75 thousand dollar range. The more of a hot spot in the city you’re in, like Old Montreal, the more expensive.
