A photo of Celine Dion wearing Las Vegas Golden Knights hockey gear is going viral across the Internet and Habs fans are far from pleased.
At last night’s Las Vegas Golden Knights vs Montreal Canadiens playoff game, sportscaster Chris Cuthbert shared a photo of Dion on the jumbotron at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas wearing Golden Knights hockey gear.
The photo caused lots of back and forth between Habs fans on Twitter as some debated the validity of the photo, while others shared their devastation by calling Dion ‘a traitor’ for sporting the gear of her hometown’s rivals.
However, one fan pointed out the almost obvious connection between Celine Dion’s 2007 album cover Taking Chances and the viral image, debunking the question over whether or not Dion would go against her hometown’s team.
Looks like she’s still in Montreal’s good books...
Celine Dion has yet to acknowledge the photo, adding to the mystery of the trending post. Vegas fan or not, we know that our hearts will continue to go on!
