The iconic food festival le Burger Week is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and in honor of the milestone, organizers say it is going to be "bigger than ever before."
From September 1st to September 14th, burger-lovers can enjoy not just one but two weeks of delicious burger goodness with over 1,000 restaurants across the country participating via the delivery service DoorDash!
For the unfamiliar, le Burger Week's goal is to support local restaurants by raising awareness through the festival. More importantly, the event also supports a good cause. Over the past decade, the team that also organize la Poutine Week and la Pizza Week has raised over $350,000 for different charities.
This year, Burger Week will be supporting Anorexia and Bulimia Québec (a Quebec-based organization that aims to fight and destigmatize eating disorders) and United Way Canada (a national non-profit organization that works to raise funds and invest in improving lives in local communities).
Le Burger Week will donate a percentage of every burger sold at participating restaurants to Anorexia and Bulimia Québec (ANEB) and United Way Canada.
Participating restaurants to be announced. Visit their official website for more info!
