The award-winning Pumpkinferno is returning this fall!
That’s right folks, Upper Canada Village will be hosting its annual pumpkin lantern festival this year, and this time around, visitors will be able to make their way along displays consisting of 7,000 hand-carved jack-o'-lanterns!
That’s a lot of jack-o'-lanterns!
This mesmerizing installation of artist-inspired, glowing pumpkins will run from September 24 to October 31 and will place the pumpkins along a one-kilometer path set against a 19th-century backdrop.
Located in Morrisburg Ontario (about an hour and a 40-minute drive from the island of Montreal), the festival attracts plenty of Quebecers thanks to the amazing variety of attractions they've featured in the past such as a pumpkin planetarium, a historic village, a fur trading museum, a vineyard, and a witch exhibition.
This year, they are adding Roaring 20s and Area 51-themed displays; meanwhile, Parks of the Saint Lawrence, which manages Upper Canada Village, also promises the return of the Enchanted Forest, Mesozoic Monsters and Clown Town exhibits.
Tickets will be on sale as of September 7 and will be available exclusively online.
