A new cashierless store is coming to Montreal!

Aisle 24 is a new futuristic store concept that pushes technological advancement through the use of self-checkout. Their mission is to “serve as a more secure and reliable way for people in buildings or complexes to get what they need and go”, according to Daily Hive.

While Aisle 24 has already been established in Toronto, Montreal will be receiving its very first store as soon as the end of this month!

According to Daily Hive, “Since all stores will be unattended, customers must download the Aisle 24 app and register for an account to be granted access to the stores. Then they can shop for what they need and use the self-serve check out to pay for their items.”

Want to go check it out for yourself? Their first location will be opening at 640 rue Wellington in Old Montreal! Did we mention that it's open 24 hours?

What do you think of this new concept of in-person shopping?
