We are happy to report that the Old Port of Montreal has announced the reopening of its gorgeous skating rink.
After being forced to close last year due to the pandemic, the giant outdoor rink is set to open on December 11 and will be open Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and from Thursday to Sunday until 10 p.m.
If you’ve never been, we highly recommend it. The 2,500-square-metre rink offers a picturesque view of the city and thanks to large outdoor speakers, you can skate to great music ranging from classic rock to classical, jazz, and everything in between.
DJs are also scheduled to perform every Thursday night (beginning Jan. 6), and there will be other activities on site including karaoke, ice sculptors, and more!
A season pass costs $24. The pass is good for three months, until March 26, when the rink closes.
Skates can be rented for $10.45 plus taxes for visitors who do not have their own.
