Get your umbrellas ready, Montreal — it’s about to get a little wet out there!

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the city, with rain and possible thunderstorms expected this weekend.

How much rain are we talking about? Oh, just around 30 to 50 millimetres! And yes, thunderstorms could be in the mix too.

This wet weather is expected to roll in from Friday evening through Sunday morning, affecting not only Montreal but also Montérégie, the Eastern Townships, Bois-Francs, Lanaudière, the Laurentians, Outaouais, and Témiscamingue.
