Last year, the STM celebrated the holidays a little differently by launching a one-of-a-kind contest.
Tapping into the season’s spirit of giving, the Montréal transit service provider gave each metro station a temporary new name. It was all part of the STM’s ‘ugly Christmas sweater ‘contest, where fifteen winners were rewarded with a limited-run sweater consisting of all the network’s holiday map.
Well, if you wish you were one of the lucky fifteen, we have good news!
According to a press release, the STM is bringing back its Christmas sweater and this year it is available to buy on the STM online store.
As you can see below, the long-sleeve, crew-neck, fleece slipover features a map of the Montréal métro only with the names changed to sound more ‘Christmasy’.
If you want one, we recommend you don’t wait because the STM is releasing limited quantities and we assume it will sell out fast!
It’s also worth noting that according to the website, the STM will donate $10 to the STM generosity campaign.
