The Weather Network predicts a very white and cold winter season in Quebec this year… Yup!

According to meteorologist Dr. Doug Gillham from The Weather Network, we should expect a reversal this year in weather patterns:

“For Ontario, Quebec and parts of the Maritimes, this should bring a quicker start to winter than we have often seen during the past 25 years. We have become accustomed to very mild Decembers, but this year should bring more typical amounts of winter weather during the weeks leading up to and through the holidays.”

We can already see this pattern starting to begin as temperatures this week are dropping below 0 degrees, with the coldest temperatures reaching near -9 degrees celsius over the weekend. And you might want to consider taking out those skis… Montreal is expecting near 10cm of snow this coming Monday!

Say goodbye to waking up to green grass on Christmas morning and bring on the winter snow!
