Researchers have revealed the top forty things adults could use more of— and according to the results, the majority say they could use more sleep, days off, disposable income, exercise, and sunshine. Meanwhile, some adults claimed they could use more sex on a regular basis.

The study which conducted by Virgin Active, also found a lack of money is the biggest barrier to feeling happier in life followed by a lack of time and lack of willpower.

Israel Rivera, head of group exercise at Virgin Active said: “Our research shows there are a host of things we’re not getting enough of, mostly exercise.

"Exercise can be hard to fit into your life - between your job, family and trying to have a social life.

"But when you strike the right balance, and ‘Enough’ becomes part of your life, you will find you’re able to achieve more than you ever expected, whether you have 30 minutes or hours to spare.''

The study, of 2,000 adults also discovered that many adults feel they don’t get enough emotional support, laughter, and fresh air in their day-to-day lives, as well as time with their family and work satisfaction.
