Canada’s favorite hardware store is celebrating its 100th anniversary in one unique (and smelly) way!
Canadian Tire announced that they will be celebrating their 100th anniversary by capturing the store’s iconic smell and are putting it in candle form… That’s right - candle form.
While some may say the scent isn’t all butterflies and rainbows, the iconic smell of rubbers, plastic, and gardening materials is one unique and rather Canadian scent that most people can instantly recognize.
Made with soy wax and packaged in a beautiful black tin container with the Canadian Tire logo, fans can get their hands on the candle by entering a contest on their Twitter page:
"We are giving away a limited number so be sure to quote re-tweet our original post [...] and let us know your favorite Canadian Tire memory along with hashtags #CanadianTire100 #CT100Memory #Contest for a chance to win a scented candle."
While we may agree that this should be something that should be left at the checkout counter for everyone to get their hands on, the limited number of candles will only be available as of January 30th, so make sure to enter the contest quick!
