It’s International Women’s Day and we’re all about highlighting female empowerment… While the focus might be heightened on March 8th, we all know that women deserve the recognition they deserve on a daily basis, truthfully.

Here is a short list of random facts about women in history that really exemplify the power of female and the boundaries they have pushed to get us to where we are today:

- Women of the 19th century refused to say the word ‘leg’ as they felt it was too promiscuous for their liking and instead went with ‘limb’ instead.
- To intimidate men of the 1600s, women started wearing heels to question their masculinity and status.
