We know we sound super ancient when we say: technology doesn’t stop evolving. But, to be fair, it’s true!

The hyper rapid turnover of technology in the last 2-3 decades makes us wonder if younger generations will ever understand the nostalgic feeling of using analog technology... Given how everything has since gone digital.

The physical action of pushing buttons, waiting days to see how your photos turned out at the print shop, making space in your home for your valuable vinyl collection, and so on.

Truly, there was nothing else like it!

While digital technology has allowed us to walk through life more easily, there are certain aspects of the past that will always hold a special place in our hearts... Which is something younger generations will not quite understand, but can still appreciate!

Here’s a little walk down memory lane of different old school things that kids today will never truly understand:

  • Napster
  • The library card catalog
  • Dial-up Internet
  • Floppy disks
  • Cameras with film
  • Paper maps
  • Pay phones
  • Phone books
  • Actual alarm clocks
  • Renting movies at Blockbuster

Our point here isn’t to shame younger generations for not understanding old school things, but to give our old schoolers a chance to reminisce… Because, honestly, those days were truly a time to be alive!

Now, who still has their walkman?!
