Now that travel is a thing again, many people are trying to catch the very next flight as soon as they possibly can… And honestly, we don’t blame them!

However, you’ll want to be extra vigilant when it comes to touching contaminated surfaces when boarding your next plane… Because, well, they are totally full of germs.

According to Insider, the dirtiest part of a plane is the tray table…Yup, even dirtier than those tiny aircraft lavatories!

From people drooling all over the tables while taking a nap, putting up their bare feet, to changing diapers… Those tray tables truly go through it all.

This is no shade to flight attendants by any means. They truly do it all to make sure passengers have the best experience possible. But, with those tight schedules and quick cleanups that planes go through, those trays only get cleaned once a day, after a long day of flying.

Talk about gross, right?

So, the next time you board a plane, you’ll definitely want to make sure you bring an extra Lysol wipe (or two) with you to give that tray a quick wipe down… Maybe the seat and armrest too, while you’re at it.

After all that is said and done… You’ll finally make it to your destination, which makes flying all that much more worth it!
