Calling all Sud-Ouest residents… The City of Montreal is giving away plants for your personal gardens for FREE!

They will be offering plants that help to promote biodiversity in addition to plants that are edible and medicinal… And all being offered completely free of charge! How awesome is that?

While the occasion will be taking place on Saturday, May 28th, there is a mandatory registration that must be made ahead of time to ensure that there is a proper distribution of plants made. Registration will remain open until May 22nd, and can be done online or by phone.

In order to participate, you must be a resident of one of the following neighborhoods and must provide proof of residency.

  • Saint-Henri: Square Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier (4550, rue Sainte-Émilie)
  • Petite-Bourgogne et Griffintown: parc Oscar-Peterson - (810, rue Chatham)
  • Pointe-Saint-Charles: carré d’Hibernia - (2333, rue Mullins)
  • Saint-Paul-Émard: parc Campbell-Ouest - (1990, rue De Maricourt)

Rain or shine, the event will be taking place from 9am to 1pm… So make sure you are prepared ahead of time!
