How about checking out artist Akeen Kidder's first solo art show: The Black ICON Series!
Known for his yarn art work, Kidder will feature various portrait art pieces of Black icons including Will Smith, Rihanna, Bob Marley, and so on. Many of which have inspired Kidder personally and artistically!
Tickets to the event, which are only going for $10, also include appetizers from Mauvais Garcons, as well as cupcakes from Sugar Mama Sweets.
