The Korean drama "The Squid Game" quickly became a global phenomenon jumping to the number one watched series on Netflix.
Netflix is now launching an English-language version of a new reality TV series "Squid Game: The Challenge". This supersized unscripted show turns the scripted world of the drama into reality. It will be the biggest social experiment by Netflix and the biggest casting ever made, with 456 real players competing for a cash prize of 4.56 million dollars!
Real-life players will be immersed in the iconic Squid Game universe and will never know what’s coming next. All the cast that is selected to take part in The Challenge they’ll compete in a series of heart-stopping games in order to become the sole survivor* and walk away with a life-changing cash prize.
In order to enter you have to be:
- You are, or will be at least 21 years old at the time of applying for Squid Game: The Challenge*
- You must be available to take part in the program for up to 4 weeks currently anticipated to be in early 2023. Please note that this may change at our discretion without notice;*
- You must hold a valid passport for the whole period of filming if selected and have the right to and be able to travel to all locations as we specify.*
- You are not employed or engaged and have not been previously employed or engaged by any company within the All3 Media Group and/or Netflix and you are not an immediate relative of an employee of or worker for any company within the All3 Media Group and/or Netflix.*
