When it comes to communication in the workplace, professionalism and tone is absolutely key.

To save ourselves from sounding unprofessional or just flat out rude, there are traditional workplace phrases that we all use from time-to-time. But, how many of them actually make us sound entirely passive-aggressive?

A thread online came up with the top ten work phrases that most colleagues roll their eyes over:

1.  Please advise.

2.  Noted.

3.  Friendly reminder.

4.  Will do.

5.  Thanks in advance.

6.  Per our last conversation.

7.  Circling back.

8.  As per my last email.

9.  As promised.

10.  As discussed.

Which sentence out of this list have you heard before?
