After the hot and humid summer we just had, the cool and fresh air is highly welcomed in the city… Well, for some people anyway!

While festival and terrace season may be over, there are still plenty of fun and exciting things to do in the city. Need a little inspiration?

Here are different things that you can do in and around Montreal this weekend with friends and family:

Get tattooed at Gare Windsor. This weekend, a tattoo show is making its way to the city for its 20th edition of all things body ink. Whether you choose to get something done, or just to go and admire the many talented artists, the event is happening from September 16 to 18 with tickets starting at $25.

Visit PVM’s Ring. Place-Ville-Marie’s newest steel addition will be lighting up this weekend at nightfall. The perfect photo opportunity for your next Instagram post.

Go apple picking. Visit one of Quebec’s many apple orchards near Montreal and indulge in locally grown food with your loved ones! Psst - we broke down some of the best locations at the link here.

Enjoy a light show at the Notre-Dame Basilica. Located in the heart of Old Montreal, the Notre-Dame Basilica will be hosting an outstanding light show entitled AURA until November. This is something you don’t want to miss.

What are your weekend plans?
