Looks like Quebec should experience a rather mild winter this coming season, according to recent weather predictions.
According to AccuWeather’s Senior Meteorologist, Brett Anderson, Canadians in Eastern Canada (that’s us!) can expect a big drop in heating bills this winter and a lot less shoveling.
…In that case, bring on the winter season!
Cooler temperatures are forecasted in the Northwest part of Canada, leaving provinces like Ontario and Quebec to expect milder winter temperatures, as well as a lot less snow in the bigger cities, like Toronto and Montreal.

According to Anderson, “[Montreal] residents could see more mixed precipitation-type of storms due to the episodes of mild air that will persist throughout the winter.”
While ski lovers may hate to hear this news, there is still hope in Northern parts of Quebec that will still see significant snow falls throughout the course of the winter season.
This may be a more tolerable winter after all…
