…And just like that, the second week of November has already come and gone.
Before we admit to ourselves that the winter season is quickly approaching, here is a quick look at what Montrealers can expect this weekend ahead.
All week long, there have been reports of a tropical storm headed to the Montreal area on Friday night and the predictions are looking pretty accurate.
According to an alert put out from The Weather Network, “Rainfall amounts of 40 to 60 millimetres are expected over these areas on Friday night. Conditions will gradually improve over the southwest beginning Saturday morning.”
Once the rain finally subsides, we can expect warmer than normal temperatures for November with a high of 15 degrees Celsius with light rain throughout the day.

As we move into Sunday, Montrealers will need to break out their warmer coats as we can expect a high of 5 degrees, but will feel closer to 2C. Despite the cooler air, we will see sunnier skies on Sunday afternoon in comparison to the two previous days.
Montreal can expect sunny skies as we move into next week, with our first potential snowfall of the season happening on Thursday afternoon.
Dare we say… Winter is coming!
