Did you know that the iPod first came out 22 years ago? Here is a quick recap of its history:
2001- Apple releases the first iPod, a game-changer for the brand who only sold computers prior to this release.

2004- The first iPod Mini is released and comes in five different colours.
2006- Apple reveals the second generation iPod Nano, a device that would soon be in the pockets of teenagers all over the world. Somone play Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado!
2007- The iPod Touch makes its big entry. The number of iPods sold around the world up to this point was 141 million.
2019- Jumping ahead twelve years, Apple releases its seventh and last iPod, with prices starting at $199.

2022- The iPod era officially comes to an end when the brand announces that the iPod touch will no longer be renewed. Not to fear though, because it appears that celebs like Critiano Ronaldo are still using the iPod Shuffle to this day!
