When Marie Osmond told Us Weekly that she wouldn't be leaving any money to her children after she passes away, questions were raised. Does leaving money for your kids make them lazy?

According to this interview, the signer apparently believes that inheriting wealth can influence younger people to not work as hard. 

Although it's a common practice to leave your kids with financial inheritance after you pass away, more and more people are starting to forget the idea.

"Of course we all want to spoil our children and help them out in life which is a natural reaction of being a good parent however giving them everything on a silver platter creates all the opposite,' said one of our listeners this morning, Kimberly.
