Today, on Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honour and remember the victims of the Holocaust that were liberated on January 27th 1945. Across the country, cities are taking part in the remembrance by lighting up some of their significant landmarks.

Yesterday in Montreal, citizens could partake in the Olympic Stadium's tower being lit up in remembrance.

This day marks the 77th anniversary of remembrance. In other words, the liberation of the last Auschwitz-Birkenau concetration camp was liberated 78 years ago in 1945.
