Brace yourselves Montreal, because we have the best news for you yet this winter!
Canada will be able to welcome Spring with open arms very soon! It all starts with Daylight savings time on Sunday. This means Montrealers will have to change their clocks and adjust the time forward 1 hour on March 12, 2023 (psst... before you go to bed on Saturday, make sure to adjust your watch too so you're not late for work on Monday morning!)
Any wi-fi connected appliances and/or devices should change automatically, but make sure to double-check them anyways.

But what does daylight savings even mean? I have to change the time on my clock and that's it? Well, not exactly.
Though it's a sign of warmer weather, this time shift aimed to maximize daylight hours has its downsides as well...
Those affected by this time change will lose an hour of sleep, have their internal clocks thrown off, and be in a place of "fog" for the following few days.
For those with birthdays around this weekend, your astrology charts might also be thrown off by this time change, so make sure to check up on any changes!
