Have you ever found yourself listening to 'Starboy' or 'I Can't Feel My Face' by The Weeknd a few too many times on repeat? Yeah, us too...

Which makes it that less surprising that The Weeknd has just set 2 new Guinness World Records for his music! The global leader on all things records and new milestones even called the Canadian singer the 'most popular musician in the world'!

“There’s two new world records for The Weeknd as he has become the first artist to reach 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify,” said Guinness World Records on Twitter.

His second record made The Weeknd the artist with the most monthly listeners on Spotify (a whole 111.4M of them as of March 20!)

Now there's 2 other reasons to be proud of our Canadian talent and home-grown artists! Congratulations to The Weeknd!

Psst...make sure you listen to 'Creepin', his new chart-topping hit, now on The Beat 92.5!
