When preparing what to wear for a flight, most of us go for the comfy, easy option, right? While some go for comfy jeans or chic sweats, others simply go for leggings and a comfy top.
Well, one of these is strongly advised to NOT be worn.
According to Christine Negroni, aeronautical journalist, author of the New York Times The Crash Detectives and frequent traveler, you should never wear leggings when flying on a plane.
"I avoid any clothing with artificial fibres, as they're more susceptible to burn and stick to your skin if ever a fire occurs on the plane," she says.

Though many do this when aboard a plane, the expert also strongly suggests travelers keep their shoes on when flying. Taking your shoes off might make things a little bit complicated if ever you're called to evacuate the plane quickly.
Did you know this rule about wearing leggings on a plane, Montreal? That's just one more thing we'll have to think about next time we travel!
