Earlier this week, NASA announced that Jeremy Hansen will be the first Canadian man to take a mission around the Moon! Way to go, Canada! This astronaut is one of the four who will be part of Artemis II, a lunar mission that intends on 'enduring human presence on Earth's natural satellite.' Think of it as a boomerang around the Moon and back to Earth.

This is set to be the 'farthest human travel beyond the far side of the moon' according to the CSA

Amazing, right? But that's not all!

NASA also recently announced that the first Woman and Black man would take part in this special mission around the moon. Woooo!

Congrats to Christina Koch and Victor Glover! They both will join Reid Wiseman and Jeremy Hansen on the lunar mission Artemis II, set to occur late 2024 or early 2025.
