When warmer temperatures join the party, so do refreshers. The oh-so-appreciated drink composed mainly of lemonade and iced tea is all the rage in Montreal as soon as the sunshine comes through.

While Starbucks and Tim Hortons are the two most popular restaurants offering this kind of drink in the country, a widely popular food chain recently decided to also feature this drink on their menu...it's McDonald's!

Now that these 3 popular food chains each offer the famous summertime drink, we thought we'd see what Canadians think...which brand is better?

After McDonald's officially made its new 'Fruit Splash' drinks available to Canadians last week, we immediately knew that summer was near. Here is what taste-testers had to say on this food chain's newest drink:

"Tried the Peach and the Strawberry. Both were ok. Peach to me had a bit of weird aftertaste."

"I tried the Peach Mango and it was super refreshing. Was expecting it to taste artificial or overly sweet, but surprisingly not at all."

"The McDonalds fruit splash is so underwhelming," said one user on Twitter.

...so it seems like opinions are shared!

Tim Hortons, on the other hand, released its own version of the drink close to 2 years ago already! Called 'Quenchers' this drink is made from freshly brewed iced tea. Here is what Canadians had to say about the drink last summer:

"I love iced tea quencher!" said one user on Instagram.

"If you haven’t tried the Peach Quencher from Tim Hortons, you really should (if you like peach of course). It has quickly become my go-to summer drink. So yummy"

"Can we all agree that the Tim Hortons Peach Quencher is just peach juice with ice? What's the hype ?"

...said two other users on Twitter. So it looks like opinions are shared here too!

Last but not least...Starbucks. It's safe to say that this brand was truly the one who invented refreshers, first featuring the item on their menu in 2012. Today, Starbucks offers the drink in TEN different flavours for you to choose from!

...that's a whole lotta flavours! It's safe to assume that if the drink has been around at Starbucks for that many years, it must be greatly appreciated by its fans.

Have you tried the drink at all 3 restaurants, Montreal? If so, which one did you think was best?
