Planning on using your car this weekend? Beware of Highway 40 in the Anjou sector, as it will be partially closed this weekend.
From Saturday night to Sunday, Highway 40 will be closed in the Galeries-d'Anjou Boulevard sector. More specifically, this part of the highway will be closed from 10 o'clock at night on Saturday to 11 o'clock Sunday morning.

According to the Minister of Transportation, this temporary close is necessary to allow the partial dismantling of the overpass on the Galeries-d'Anjou Boulevard. The Minister also advises Montrealers to avoid this sector, as high traffic will be anticipated.
If ever weather conditions are unstable however, such as expected floods across the region, this construction work could potentially be rescheduled.
