STM, Montreal's transit service, has recently announced the temporary shut down of its Green line between stations Lionel-Groulx and Frontenac due to an undetermined 'incident'.

Around 5:15pm tonight, STM agents could be seen evacuating trains and indicating circulation measures.

For those needing to circulate using the green line between these stations, the STM has put out a temporary shuttle service between the Berri-UQAM and Frontenac stations.

The STM also suggests residents use the neighboring orange line to get around town.

The cause of the incident has not yet been determined by the STM. Services should begin again around 2am. For all the latest updates, make sure to consult STM's Green line Twitter page
