Melissa McCarthy has been tapped to grace the cover of People magazine's 2023 Beautiful Issue.
During an appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday, the Bridesmaids actress unveiled the cover, in which she is seen posing up a storm in a gold-coloured gown with a tulle skirt.
Reacting to the gorgeous imagery, Melissa joked that she had just been cleaning her house prior to the photoshoot.
"Can you imagine if I was like, 'That's just me laying around the house. Those are just candid shots, guys.' I had just finished vacuuming," she laughed.
Emphasising how thrilled she was to receive the honour, Melissa noted that she hopes to inspire other women to "redefine" what beauty means to them.
"It's crazy," she continued. "I love what it says - I mean I'm 52 and I just like that we're kind of redefining what we want to kind of think could be beautiful, could be strong, could be anything. Because I think they're all wrapped up together now."
Elsewhere, Melissa credited her husband Ben Falcone with helping her to feel comfortable in her own skin.
"He's so constantly loving and kind. And funny and the weirdest human I know, to be honest," she smiled. "And somewhere in my 30s, I was like, 'I'm OK with who I am.' And if someone wasn't thrilled with that, that's OK too. At some point I was like, 'They're not all going to like you.' You have to learn that the hard way, but it's a good (lesson)."
