Florence Pugh has been tapped to star in a new campaign for Valentino.
The Little Women actress has had a long association with designers at the Italian fashion house, and on Wednesday, she unveiled her first-ever photoshoot for the label.
Photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by Joe McKenna, Florence is seen posing with hot pink and silver accessories from Valentino's popular Rockstud collection.
"As you can see... I'm pretty shocked and ecstatic to announce that my @maisonvalentino campaign is here. Truly an honour to continue creating art with my family at Valentino," she wrote alongside a slideshow of photos from the campaign on her Instagram page. "Working with talented people is one thing, but to work with talented people who are great friends feeds the soul! And this campaign truly did feed the soul. Thank you for letting me be me. @pppiccioli cheers and love and so much thanks to the past, the current and the future. I'm f**king proud of this one."
And in his own post, Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli shared the sentiment, calling Florence the perfect ambassador for the luxury brand.
"I met Florence right after my couture show, and I was impressed by her intelligence and bravery, the way she stand for herself, the ability to handle any circumstances with such grace and acumen. Maybe it's thanks to her job or maybe this is the reason why she choose to be an actress in the first place," he posted. "What is actually relevant to me is that this young, fierce talented actress became a friend of mine and together we decided to embark (on) this campaign. Rockstud is a statement of its own and Florence's interpretation of it is exactly what I had in mind to tell this story."
