'General Hospital' actress Jacklyn Zeman unfortuntaley passed away yesterday at age 70 following a battle with cancer. The announcement was made by the executive producer of 'General Hospital', Frank Valentini, through a Twitter post.
The show itself also took to Twitter to share its condolences and grief: "She leaves behind a lasting legacy for her Emmy-nominated portrayal of the bad girl turned heroine and will always be remembered for her kind heart and radiant spirit. We are devastated by the news of her passing, and send our deepest condolences to Jackie's family, friends and loved ones."
The late actress also starred in US TV series 'The Bay' from 2010-2022, playing the role of Sofia Madison.This ultimately lead to her fifth Daytime Emmy nomination.
She will be greatly missed.
