Here's what NOT to get mom for the big day this year

With Mother's Day just around the corner, it can be hard to find good, last-minute gifts. Overall, we know moms prefer quality time over any material gift. Instead, spend the day with your mom, doing her favourite things and just letting her know you love her! Truly, that's the best give you could ever give her.

If you still want to get something for your mom this year, just make sure you stay away from these gifts below...

'Mom' themed jewelry

If we had to name the tackiest gift, it would probably be any jewelry that says 'mom' on it. Instead, get her a necklace or bracelet she'll actually wear!

Cleaning products

Really?? It's 2023, people! Instead of cleaning products, get mom everything she needs to have an at-home spa day (we're sure she'd much prefer it to a basket of sponges and window cleaner!)

Mugs

Unless mugs are a Mother's Day tradition in your family, we strongly suggest avoiding them this year. Mom probably already has way too many mugs to appreciate another one, anyways. Instead, opt for something she's had her eye on for a while already (a new book, perhaps?)

Perfume

Mom loves her fragrances, we're just not sure she'd appreciate you get her perfume for Mother's Day (especially if it's the wrong scent...) Instead, get her a gift-card to Sephora or Pharmaprix so she can get exactly the fragrance she wants!
