Driving through downtown Montreal? That might be a little complicated if you plan to do it over the weekend.

Due to a steel structure installation, Montreal’s Ville-Marie expressway will unfortunately be closed in both directions over the weekend. More specifically, this closure will take place from Friday evening until Monday morning. Here are the complete details:

For westbound lanes, traffic will be redirected to Viger Avenue and Saint-Antoine Street. Closures will take place between Panet Street and the Lucien L’Allier entrance from Friday 11pm until Monday 5am.

For eastbound lanes, traffic will be redirected to the Saint-Jaques and Saint-Antoine streets. Closures will take place between the Pont Victoria/Robert Bourassa Boulevard/De la Montagne Street and the entrance from Atataken Street.

Make sure to plan ahead, Montreal!
