As the forest fires continue to spread in the province, the effects are seen all the way from outer space. As of this morning, Quebec was currently fighting against 160 forest fires in the province, more particularly in the regions of Sept-Îles, Val d'Or and Normétal, whose residents have been asked to evacuate their homes.

After a smog warning was issued in Montreal following the fires, Montrealers were also asked to be cautious and avoid the outdoors if they suffered from asthma or any respiratory problems.

Today, it's rather the great outer space that copes with the aftereffects of the fires...with smoke seen from afar on Earth!
