In general, Canada can expect "higher-than-normal" temperatures until at least the end of August. "June has already brought above-normal temperatures across the northern Prairies, northern Ontario, and northern Quebec. Throughout the summer, higher temperatures are expected to persist in these regions," mentions Environment Canada.
Along with higher temperatures, Canadians can expect increasing seasonal dryness and warming climates. Given this, Environment Canada urges residents to closely monitor weather forecasts and prepare in consequence.
