Now that 'pumpkin spice lattes' and halloween decor have officially made their seasonal comeback, autumn seems too close to be true.
To gear up for the new season, here's a glimpse at Montreal's 2023 fall weather forecast:

Overall, Montreal can expect below-average temperatures in the new season. Not only that, precipitation levels are also expected to be higher than normal. In other words, Montreal can expect a cold and wet autumn this year (yuck, we know!)
The month of September will be particularly cloudy in the Montreal region. The first half of the month will be mostly rainy, with slightly sunny skies expected throughout the weeks. When autumn officially launches on September 23rd, skies should (fortunately) clear up and bring mostly cool temperatures until September 30th. In other words, sweater weather will be ON!
The month of October will then come in like a boomerang...what do we mean by that, you ask? Temperatures will vary a lot, going from heavy rain to sunny skies and cool temperatures. Close to halloween, you might experience a scare or two...because Montreal can expect the first snow to fall towards the end of the month.
There you have it! What are your plans for the start of fall, Montreal?
