If you’ve ever done any home renovations you’ll know that spilling paint is the absolute worst. A Montreal truck driver experienced that nightmare on Tuesday morning at the end of rush hour when the load of paint he was transporting spilled across Highway 40 leading up the Decarie Circle.
The spill happened around 8am and closed the eastbound Trans Canada between Cote Vertu and Cavendish backing traffic up for over a kilometre until about 3pm when Transport Quebec started to reopen the highway. Officials stated that the environmental impact was minimal.
