Montreal's very own SPCA will be holding a Free Adoption Day in Montreal this Monday.
"The peak season of 2023 should be coming to an end, yet an uptick in strays is keeping our cages and enclosures full! To help our protégés find a home quickly, the Montreal SPCA will be waiving adoption fees on Monday, October 9th, for one day only!" mentions the SPCA on its Web page.
Here are a few additional notes from the Montreal SPCA concering this free adoption day:
- Families should bring ID and a carrier for all animals except dogs.
- A second visit and a deposit may be required to adopt a dog. Deposits will be refunded with proof of completion of a dog training course.
- All animals put up for adoption have been examined by a veterinarian.
