Though light snowflakes already greeted Montreal just over a week ago, the city might just get its first 'official' snowfall of the season.

As The Weather Network reported it in its latest statement, Montreal can expect "close to 5 centimetres of snow over the southern part of the province on Thursday morning. Snow will change to light rain or drizzle during the day as temperatures rise."

That means us, Montreal! Not only can we expect up to 5 centimetres of snow, but freezing rain might also make its way to us on Thursday morning.

Light snow is expected to start around 4am until 9am in the region, followed by ice pellets and mixed precipitation until 3pm. Temperatures will range between -2 degrees and 2 degrees in Montreal.

Anyone else feel the magic of the holidays coming on...?!
