Ariana Grande has shared a series of social media posts hinting at a new music project.
The Bang Bang singer posted a selection of photos and muted videos to Instagram on Thursday that show her working in a recording studio.
In the uncaptioned shots, Ariana, 30, can be seen sitting at a computer while looking at audio files on the screen.
"She's home!" commented singer Victoria Monét, one of Grande's frequent collaborators.
The singer's Wicked co-star, Cynthia Erivo, also wrote in a comment: "No one is ready. I'm so freaking proud of you...This project is so freaking special!"
The Break Free singer last appeared on a song in February, when she teamed up with The Weeknd once again for the Die For You remix.
In August, she released the 10th anniversary reissue of her debut album, Yours Truly, which featured new versions of six tracks recorded live in London.
She paid tribute to rapper and ex-boyfriend Mac Miller in the video for a new version of the pair's 2013 track The Way.
Mac died in September 2018 following an accidental overdose. Ariana dated the rapper between 2016 and 2018.
Since his death, the singer has also paid tribute to Mac on two of her albums, 2019's Thank U, Next and Positions from 2020.
