Adam Sandler has paid tribute to Alec Musser following the death of his Grown Ups co-star at the age of just 50.
Musser, best known for playing Del Henry in the soap All My Children, died on Friday at his Del Mar, California, home, his fiancée Paige Press told TMZ.com.
The fitness model and actor appeared in a small role as 'water park stud' in Sandler's hit 2010 comedy, and the funnyman was full of praise for his late castmate.
"I loved this guy," Adam wrote on Instagram. "Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man. Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person."
Press also shared her heartbreak over her fiancé's death on the same social media platform.
"RIP to the love of my life. @alecmusser I will never stop loving you," she wrote in a post featuring magazine cutouts of Musser. "My heart is so broken."
Press later told Fox News that Musser was suffering from "a severe case of Covid" at the time of his passing. An autopsy will determine the official cause of death.
