Well, Montreal - we are one week away from February and let’s just say… You might want to book that trip down South as soon as possible, because yes - it’s going to be one cold month.
Due to the polar vortex heading back towards the Quebec region, temperatures will drop down to -10 to -15 degrees Celsius below normal. Yup, that means you’ll want to double or even triple your layers!
According to Météo Média, February might be even colder and packed with more snow than January was. That’s right, February out-snowed January 36 more times since the early 1940s - and this year might be the 37th time…
Especially with Arctic air descending as we are approaching the new month, Québec becomes a more active snow corridor.
So there you have it Montreal - let’s hope that February goes by quickly!
