Mark Ronson has recalled giving his daughter the first listen of I'm Just Ken.

In a new interview with People, Mark, who executive produced Barbie: The Album, recalled his now 12-month-old daughter's first trip to the recording studio.

"She was born in the middle of making (the Barbie soundtrack)," the 48-year-old said of his daughter, whose name has not been revealed.

He continued, "Her first time in a recording studio was when we were doing the final mix on I'm Just Ken, and I was walking her back and forth, listening at a much more reasonable volume than I usually would be."

I'm Just Ken was written and produced by Mark and Andrew Wyatt and performed by Ryan Gosling, who played Ken in the Barbie movie.

Elsewhere in the interview, the British DJ and record producer revealed that his daughter particularly enjoys Billie Eilish's track from the Barbie soundtrack, What Was I Made For?

"My mom has a record player in the house, and we were listening to the vinyl. What Was I Made For? came on, and you could tell - something about Billie's voice and how bewitching that song is, she kind of went into a bit of a trance," Mark told the outlet.

He added, "I sent Billie a video, like, 'Look what you're out here doing to these kids.'"

Mark shares his daughter with his wife, actress Grace Gummer. The couple have been married since 2021.

I'm Just Ken and What Was I Made For are in the running for the Best Original Song at the 2024 Oscars.
