Celine Dion has reflected on the ensemble she wore to her wedding in 1994.
During the latest episode of Vogue's Life in Looks, the Canadian hitmaker reflected on the dress she wore for her 1994 wedding to her late husband, René Angélil, who passed away in 2016.
"Speechless," Celine, 56, said immediately after seeing a photo of herself at her wedding.
"The dress couldn't have been big enough. I could have had three times the size on my head," she continued, referring to her seven-pound headpiece. "I could have had six different dresses that night, because he (René) was and he's still such a wonderful human being."
The hitmaker then went on to address the Swarovski crystal-encrusted headpiece she wore on her special day.
"This big piece is not glued to my head, obviously, it has been sewn," she explained. "So no problem, I can manage the weight and when you're so happy, there's no weight, there's no problem, there's no pain."
The Think Twice singer recalled that she rehearsed walking down the aisle in her full ensemble in a ballroom with wooden floors, but still had difficulty on the day because the cathedral had carpeted flooring.
Celine also explained that when she took off her headpiece at the end of the night, she had "a cut because the pressure was too much".
"The next day I wake up, I look at myself in the mirror, I have the size of an egg in the middle of my forehead," she recounted. "I look at my husband and I said, 'Ha, it's too late now, we're married.'"
The My Heart Will Go On hitmaker added that she had to take antibiotics for "about three weeks" to treat the injury.
